'A vucchella by Paolo Tosti
‘A Vuccella is considered a Group 2 piece. Our critical edition of this piece includes the Italian IPA for the purposes of learning Italianate linguistic practices and the Neopolitan IPA for those wishing to explore this language and accurate performance practice. It also includes notation to help performers and students master the stylistic elements of Italian romantic music and the Italian language including: rubato markings, IPA, portamento, accidentals and dynamic markings that aid in pronunciation, and phrasal-stress/accentuation and word-stress.
